SAMPLE INTERNSHIPS
Accepted students have the opportunity to work as an intern at an organization or NGO in Moldova according to their interests, skills, and experience. There is a wide range of possible internships in state organizations and NGOs, working in areas of public health, HIV/TB control, health education, community mental health, children with disabilities, care for the elderly, environmental health, and others. Some internships are more research-based; others involve working more directly with people. Below includes some internships students may work in.
HOSPICE ANGELUS
Hospice Angelus is the first palliative care center in Moldova. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for people suffering from long-term illnesses, like cancer, through medical, social, and psycho-emotional care.

TONY HAWKS CENTER
Tony Hawks Center is a non-governmental, non-profit organization registered since December 2000, dedicated by British writer, Tony Hawks. Tony Hawks Center's mission is to "improve the quality of life of chronically ill children from socially vulnerable families". A youth led grassroots NGO from Moldova. Dedicated to realizing the full potential of the region as a model of sustainable development.
