INTERNSHIPS

Accepted students in the program will have the opportunity to find an internship that best fits their interests, skills, and experience. There is a matching process in place for this opportunity to intern at various state organizations and NGOs in Moldova. Click below to view some possible internships for the summer.

LOGISTICS

Students stay with host families, carefully screened by the American Councils office in Chisinau. The program fee includes standard CIS travel and health insurance, along with the program itself, but does NOT include air travel. ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Moldova Global Health Summer Internship is an 8-week internship program from May 12, 2020 to July 9, 2020. Students have the opportunity to embark on six-week internships chosen (ahead of the time) from a variety of state and NGO organizations working in areas of public health, health education, community mental health, children with disabilities, care for the elderly, environmental health, and others. Logistics, health and safety protocols, and social activities are provided by the Moldovan country office of American Councils for International Education. Upon satisfactory completion of the program students earn 4 transferable Allegheny College academic credits.
